Infinite Vision at Academy of Management

By: Pavithra Mehta|August 30, 20121 Comment

Infinite Vision was a Finalist for the Academy of Management’s prestigious George Terry Award! As the presenter said, it was an unusual choice for this scholarly platform — but one that completely toppled their assumptions of how business works :)

About the author

Pavithra Mehta

Pavithra K. Mehta is an award-winning writer and filmmaker in a family of 21 (and still counting) eye surgeons. This might explain her fondness for stories that help people see. Infinite Vision, her book and documentary, followed the life and work of her granduncle, Dr. V -- who once created a nine-item To-Do List for her that she has yet to complete. (Item #4 reads: Quality Care For All)

An absolutely amazing story and incredible accomplishment that all human beings should embrace through passionate eyes of service and sacrifice. Equally applicable to government, industry and all charitable causes. I recently had the distinct pleasure of attending Pavithra K. Mehta’s presentation on Infinite Vision. While Dr. V was alive he clearly should have been considered for every applicable award possible. Amazing story that has left an indelible mark on my life. There are only a hand full of miracles in life that touch the significance of what Dr. V accomplished. If only a small percentage of the world had dreams as powerful as Dr. V’s, the world would witness a miracle transformation. Thank your for telling this story so eloquently. Go Bless
